We stayed two nights and had both breakfast and dinner. The hotel - restaurant are both good. Friendly service. Good food. Nice wine offer but not outstanding. A good basic hotel i would say. Room is clean and basic. We only had a bath tub which is a minus i would say. There could be more facilities for the children. Play area and more children seats. Breakfast is expensive for what you get. Tip would be more yoghurt fresh fruit and vegetables as Well as nuts and seeds.

Nice restaurant for a lighter lunch. One of the few restaurants open during the February holidays. Service was fast and friendly. Excellent wines. Had the torte flambé vegetarian which was tasty. And the crime brûlée trio was fantastic and highly recommended!

It is both a hotel and a restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and warm with friendly staff. Nice interieur and table and chairs and decoration. Very clean toilets downstairs. We ordered the burger and asked for onions as extra inside. It was a big and very tasteful burger - the bread nice and maybe homemade. Good quality of beef and bacon. Cheap - only 11 euros each. And there was thick French fries along. We did not even pay extra for the onions. Nice place!

We spent three nights at La Ferme du Pape Hostellerie with my Dad and a friend. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the terrace below. When I booked the last room available was a triple, so we had a nice, big room with an extra bed to strew our things over, as well as the toilet and the bath in separate rooms. The bed was about the most comfortable I've slept in. We loved the breakfast, which was a buffet with copious amounts of breads, meats, cheese, eggs you can either hard or soft boil. We ate dinner at the hotel twice. The service was excellent, especially one women who was sweet, patient and helpful with everyone. The menu offers a wide variety of well-prepared foods. The first night I had a choucroute and the next I had melon and ham salad. The hotel is on the edge of the village of Eguisheim, and we loved being able to take early morning and late afternoon walks on the quiet streets. The only downfall of our stay was the lack of air conditioning which was a bit difficult in the extreme, unusual heat, although we were lucky to have a big fan in the room. We could have also used some instruction on the windows which can either open like a door or from in from the top. I have been to France many times and I have never seen windows like that!

Not all the restaurants were open in September this has an extra large terrace for eating outside in summer (dogs welcome). Service was very sweet. Menu extensive and authentic with set menu options plus offer an enfant menu for around €10. Not the cheapest mains around €15-20. Homemade foie gras was very tasty and the lamb pastry was so delicious. The wine was amazing and cheap, we had krafts of Riesling and Pinot Blanc best white wine I've ever had (am more of a red wine drinking though).

We spent 8 days there and the people are lovely and helpful. There is a parking behind for the clients and the restaurant can be helpful after a good day. The restaurant prices are a bit too high but not something who should push you to go away. The hotel is nice, clean and the prices are good.
