All local. Home made. The sauce on the pork was fantastic. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Servings were lovely. My son had a Chèvre Steak burger he can't stop raving about and we devoured everything before a picture could be taken. Sorry. Worth stopping here on a bike or car trip. So wonderful. Cheers and thank you. Every meal tastes of love and a passion for good food.

Really delicious meal in a lovely setting. This is the 4th time we have been and it is a consistently good standard with an interesting menu and special touches. Good value for money.

This small restaurant is very popular, rightly so. It's run by a husband and wife team, and is very good value for money. The starters were particularly impressive, but the whole meal was excellent. The local wine they served was so good that we visited the Cave next day and bought a dozen bottles. Diners varied from workmen at the end of a working day to a well-dressed group having a celebration. A friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Outdoors there's a play area for small children.

We have eaten at this restaurant 3 or 4 times now. It is run by husband and wife team and is open Fri/Sat evenings as well as lunchtimes during the week.The food and service is just as good in the evening or at lunchtime. It was so lovely to find a really good restaurant not too far away from us and without a large price tag! The food is mainly home cooked and presentation / flavours perfect. The service is wonderful and totally different to the usual restaurants. We run a nearby B&B and have sent our guests there who are equally happy. Try it!!
