The dining room is elegant, with paintings and text from fables of a well known local writer. And the views out the window, or on the terrace, are unique: ruins of a castle, a Renaissance bridge, and lush vegetation. The food matches the setting creative and delicious.

This food at this amazing château with the most amazing rooms to stay is completely incredible it’s Michelin star quality all the way stunning so good we came back from our honeymoon to spend a few more days here 11 out of 10

PERFECT service, amazing dishes, (huge wine list! in a living room decorated with taste with a view on country side fields and a 19th century ruined castle. Highly recommend the foie gras.

We ate a la carte in the restaurant. We were offered to take an aperitif in the lounge, the basically abandoned. Despite ordering the main course and dessert, no wine list arrived and only an order for water was taken, which was never presented. Then we were rushed into the dining room to take our main course, without wine being proposed or water brought. Had to wait another 15mn for both. Food cold by this stage. Dessert was then rushed out, without cheese being offered. No coordination or communication amongst staff. Given the very elevated price tag, we really expected more.

Avoid at all cost. We paid over 150€ for 2 main courses 1 desert and half bottle of vine which btw was the only positive. My maine course (minestrone) was so small that it took me 1 min to eat it and tasted like canned soup but was priced over 40€. My partner had magret and it was ok but also not worth 45€. I have no idea how they can justify charging top prices for such a bad food. After the meal we complained at the reception but apart from apologising they didn't do anything. It was the worst spent 150€ in my life and I think they rely on the fact that the hotel is in the middle of the forest and there is no other place to eat.

It's worse than McDonalds. 5 star hotel and Michelin star??? How was it achieved? Staff is totally lost not knowing what they do. In my bred I found a big stone and no one even apologised. They took it and didn't put a new plate. Food was simple and not well discribed in menu. Waiter didn't know chateau champagne compisition. Didn't add champagne to our empty glasses we had to catch and ask. Finally there was a mistake in a bill. Don't come!!!

1 Michelin Star restaurant not worth visiting. Staff incapable of be waitors/waitresses. They had absolutely no idea what was going on. Had to ask for everything no one came to take orders on their own initiative. We asked for bread as could see it on the trolley got it and after about 15 mins the butter came (had already eaten the bread by then . Ordered tuna for main course and literally got some over cooked tuna and some rice and soy sauce!! For €42!! Just returned from 4 months in the Austrian Alps food there many times better there (without the Michelin Star! . This place needs a good cook and a restaurant manager...and some help.

Excellent food, well prepared and presented using good quality ingredients. We ate there 2 nights running and were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the ambience sophisticated, quiet and restful. The John Dory and Turbot were delicious and the Foie gras starter and chicken dishes very tasty. A great wine list accompanied the food menu and included many fine champagnes. Recommended place to dine.
