Went today around 2 pm. For 3 people 47 euros for 1 litter of water and 3 mussels with French fries. The mussels were very tasty but the French fries came on a small plate.

Good value set meals, enough choice to suit most tastes. I enjoyed fish soup but husbands ballots were very tough. The waiter thought dinde was chicken which it is'nt but maybe he was teasing us. It was very noisy with screaming children and for that reason I scored lower. The food and service were fine, maybe we were unlucky on this occasion but it was 9pm when we went in to sit down.

Met with a couple o friends for an evening meal. An excellent experience. We all ate from the €23 menu and has the soup, seafood platter, smoked salmon and ficelle - all very good. For main course we had the bavette (2), ray and the moules; again all excellent. Deserts were also up to the same high standard, the pear to be particularly recommended. Service was excellent as was the cleanliness of the restaurant It was a wet Monday evening in May so not the busiest but the ambience was till not at all bad. Great value, €140 all in, including wine and coffee. To be recommended!

After reading the Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to give this place a try. . . especially since other restaurants were closed on a chilly Tuesday in May.The restaurant was not busy in this "off season" and so there was only one other couple. Our waiter . . . who spoke only a little English. . . was bored and not very welcoming. However, he was efficient. The small mussels were delicious, fresh and plentiful and came with a great Roquefort cheese sauce. The big mound of frites were just the usual frozen things. . . not worth the calories. My husband has the Skate which was disappointing as it was quite soggy in texture. . . also probably frozen and maybe too long.Really great mussels and frites can be found in many places along this coast for 10 to 12 Euros. Although the ambiance of this eatery is better than some. I am not convinced that we would try this place again. . . especially for the higher price.

We came at lunch time with 2 kids. We asked if kids dishes can be served earlier as they were very hungry. They served it 5 minutes later despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy. The rest came 15 minutes later. All was very tasty and fresh. Service was very good! Not the same as at Casino a few meters down the road.

There are a good selection of restaurants in Fort Mahon but this one looked very well presented and was busy - always a good sign. Also, the menu offered a wide choice to suit everyone. We were not dissapointed. The mussels truly were the best I ahve ever tasted! The servings were very generous and those of us who did not have the mussels were also very happy with their meals (pizza and calamari). The service was good, especially as it was a very busy evening.Overall, a delicious meal in a restaurant that I would happily recommend.
