Quality is good, as long as we look at the freshness of the ingredients. in the drip plan, miss the authentic drop of the patés that I know as the riette or the pate of campagne, the puerros to the vinegar, mushrooms paris to the vinegar. But the hot dish was good and very correct. For 13,75€ the menu to eat once without having to deviate a lot from the route, okay. but, I prefer to go to any Fast-Food!
Went here after searching online for somewhere local to our motel where we had stopped on long journey.My husband was wary as a truckers restaurant but I suggested he be less snobby and I stupidly trustedThe reviews on here.The staff were initially very unhelpful, it's obviously fine that they don't speak English we always manage to get by but they were clearly indifferent and impatient to the fact we needed things repeating or said more slowly. The restaurant looked clean but on closer inspection of the buffet I noticed you got free flies with most of your selections. None of the other staff or diners seemed to think this mattered. The buffet was total meat fest even the salads full of unidentifiable brown or pink lumps. (why do French think this is necessary)?. anyway no matter I'll have a plat de jour instead. Oh hang on the choice is between 3 beef dishes and mussels (I don't like beef or mussels). We should have left at this point but my 2 small children were starving and already tucking into the bread. My husband had steak which he said was ok. I ordered a children's meal for my 6 year old then had to argue with the waitress that a second child's meal was not required for my 3 year old! She always just shares with her sister. The waitress was really rude about this but I got my way and was rude back. So I ate a few frites then went to the desert buffet for a laugh and a look at some more flies. All for 32 euros! To top it off there was a man in the ladies toilet having a number two when I went in there! My husband meanwhile had taken my 3 year old with him but the gents were so filthy SHE refused to use them! (As had said man obviously) Don't listen to the old reviews. Staff and customers here very rude and the food was revolting! I am pretty upset by the whole experience !
Left a group in the nearest ph1. Kind service, resto does feel like an asset. Cold and dessert buffet for 11 euros, 13 euros with main dish. For that price, you can't expect a haute cuisine, but it was okay, but it wasn't. Buffet formula always fun with kids, of course.
If you travel in the area, you must not hesitate to get out of the highway. this road is very close to an exit, and for an unbeatable price quality ratio, we have very well lunched. Input and dessert buffets are rich, varied and good. service is fast and friendly and friendly staff.
