We have been to this restaurant numerous times with my family. The food and service are always excellent.

Initially tried to get a drink, the owner pointed us down to the traditional bar on the corner, went back in the evening with our 2 dogs looking to sit outside, we were taken inside and made welcome and had a very enjoyable 3 course meal

We have eaten here a few times in the evening, and the food and service is excellent. Good choice of starters and main dishes, desserts to die for!

My wife and I walked in for dinner right when they opened and had no problem getting a seat. The server was very personable and spoke great english. He had a good sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable. He was very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The food was great and very affordable.

Having recently holidayed in the Gace region, we went into the town quiet often for local amenities. We were out one evening looking for a place to eat and came across Rue 23, asked if they had room for our group of 8 and they immediately accommodated us and put us away from the main diners which was nice since we had a 5 month old baby with us.From the moment we went in we were greeted by the waiter (name escapes me...perhaps Xavier.?) He talked us through the menu, recommended local drinks etc. His English was perfect!When the meals arrived everyone said how lovely the food was. Meats were all cooked well, fish was tasty and all side garnishes were presented well!I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone as it gave us a true reflection of the wonderful French cuisine.

Recently we stumbled onto this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. We had a great lunch of traditional galettes. The owner spoke english and was very friendly and helpfull. We would go back any time we were in the area.

We went here for a lunchtime meal out on holiday and found the food, service and atmosphere to be great. They have a daily set menu and a more extensive house menu of three courses for a reasonable price (€15/€23 respectively.) There was also lots of local cuisine and drinks. We came with a small baby and were well accommodated. The waiter was also quite happy to speak to us in English. All in all an excellent traditional French restaurant.

Stayed in Gacé and were recommended to try this restaurant. It was excellent, great meal lovely wine and great staff. We will go back next time we stay at La Rocher the best B
