Restaurant If - CLOSED Réserver une table

Nous avons voulu manger dans ce restaurant. Nous nous y sommes rendu, la terrasse était pleine, mais nous avons attendu d’être pris en charge par le personnel. Celui ci nous a vu, nous étions 3 couples a attendre, mais jamais personne n'est venu nous proposé de nous installer, ou tout simplement nous informé que le restaurant était complet et qu'il y avait du temps d'attente, pourtant les serveurs nous ont vu et rien de tout cela c'est passé. Au bout de 10min, nous avons rebroussé chemin et sommes allés manger dans un autre restaurant.C'est fort dommage du manque d’intérêt pour la clientèle...

Nous etions dans un décor magnifiqueune dizaine de tables et des le debut tout le personnel PATRONS compris etaient completement débordés.: se trompant de commande, oubliant les boissons, ne savaient plus qui servir, qu'elle table etc etcacceptaient des clients alors qu'il n'y avait plus de tablede ce fait etait désagrable entre eux qu'en a la bonne organisation des commandesle repas etait tout ce qu'il y avait de plus basique meme le dessert tartelette aux fraises (avec 4 demies-fraises) dessus etaient médiocresj,ai vu des clients essayer de partir sans payerbref a eviter sauf pour le jardin et sa maison de 1774NB : N'accepte pas la CB probleme avec l'appareil !!!) il faut penser a prendre le carnet de chèque !!!

We stumbled on this restaurant while looking at the garden. Invited in we were met by Clementine who happened to be from Sydney and so followed a wonderful meal cooked by Pierre and lots of great conversation. Home cooked meal (Lamb ) in this amazing old house with a simply superb red wine (Boure Sans Soif) resulted in a delightful afternoon.Seasonal only...but highly recommended.

Pierre and Clementine offer a delightful service of meals and comfort. They bring an interesting crowd together and dinner was truly magical. The food is proper french cuisine. Many healthy salads to choose from and lush meat dishes. Only the best!

My husband and I went to "If" for lunch in August. The town of Gerberoy is gorgeous. And the house and garden that "If" is in, absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and exactly what you want, French, seasonal, not fussy but still incredibly interesting. I highly recommend the house smoked salmon. Worth the short drive from Paris. We will definitely be visiting again"

We had a truly magical and memorable lunch at "If". It would have been an incredible experience just for the setting...The restaurant is housed in a seventeenth century chateau, which has gorgeous, cosseting interiors with all original features, a stunning formal garden with ornate hedges and views over Gerberoy and the surrounding countryside and a delightful kitchen garden with an impressive range of produce and even a pumpkin tunnel! But then there was the food...We had the garden salad which was made with fresh produce straight from the kitchen garden and had a light homemade dressing, the smoked duck, which was succulent and tasty, and a delectable apple tart for desert.A Pouilly Fumé savignon blanc was slightly smokey and crisp, and a perfect accompaniment.The restaurant is run by a warm and chatty French/Aussie couple who were clearly passionate about what they do and were more than happy to give us a tour of their incredible property. They showed us a really good time.I really cannot recommend highly enough a stop at "If" if you are travelling through Picardie, and I'd go so far as to say it's worth a day trip up from Paris.
