The space is small, probably fits less than 30 people. Could do with another waiter, but the fact that there is just the one somehow adds to the charm. He was not overwhelmingly attemptive, just kind and helpful. The menu is not too big, but I think it probably includes something for everyone. Not sure about options for vegans or celiacs. Their wine list included an exceptional red wine from Chile, very good value for money. Every bite of food was a pleasant surprise. The dishes do not sound nor look exceptional, but don't let the discretion fool you. The fresh ingredients and inspired seasoning make it special. I have payed good money for meat in Grenoble, but here is where I tasted the most tender beef. And for once, they listened to how well-cooked I wanted it (five stars right there). One last advice: go to the toilets BEFORE eating. They are upstairs through a very narrow path. Clean and pleasant, but not everyone may be able to climb up to then. Specially after eating a full menu.
