We arrived and I took a seat outside while my husband went into the cafe. As he entered, he was shouted at by the waitress who was busy setting tables. When he didn't hear her, she whistled at him and shook her head. Serious attitude no attempt to welcome us or ask what she could help with. We left! No wonder it is deserted on a Saturday morning when the shopping centre is busy! If I could give zero I would!
We went in for lunch at 1;15 pm, the restaurant was 2/3s empty, as there was no sign saying 'wait to be seated ', we sat at table and waited, and waited. Finally, went to cashier and asked for a menu. As the cashier gave the menu, a waitress walked by and said we had not waited to be seated. So after taking the menu and deciding, we were completely ignored (more waiting) After complaining to cashier, we left and ate elsewhere. The staff obviously does not care about customers so my recommendation is don 't bother trying to eat here.
Just come back to our hotel, feeling full and staisfied after a night at Spuntino. A great meal, a blend of Italian with regional French dishes. Freshly made to order, very tasty and good hearty portions. Service could not be faulted and again another pleasing night out in Grenoble. Perfect for groups and couples, cant go wrong. Food is well priced around 12 to 15 euros for mains and 5 to 7 for desserts. Drinks a bit expensive but good quality. Its right by the shopping Mall so worth killing two birds with one stone!!! They put candles on my daughters dessert, turned out thelights and sang Bon anniversaire, to our amusement and her embarrassment!!!!
