Got a takeaway from here on holiday as I wanted to try this place based on the reviews. This place is a little gem compared to a lot of the very disappointing eateries locally. Good balance of spice, really nice depth of flavour without being over powering. Really good North African food, definitely worth trying.

I lived in North Africa for a couple of years and became a fan of couscous. This is the real deal. It is hardly surprising as the charming Hocine is from Algeria. Very generous and copious portions, there is enough for two, or for one with plenty of leftovers! A guilty personal pleasure as my wife isn't keen on couscous, but a real treat for me.Only takeaway unfortunately. Good to order in advance.

houcines cousin is one of the best I've ever tried. the portions are great, the smolina is fine and light, the meat is delicious and the sweet and seasoned, cooked to perfection.

I have a take from here on vacation as I wanted to try this place based on the reviews. this place is a small gem in comparison to a lot of very disappointing restaurants before location. good balance of seasoning, really beautiful depth of taste, without... about powering. really good North African food, try definitiw.

I lived in North Africa for a few years and became a fan of cousin. that is the real deal. it is hardly surprising how the charming hocine is from Algeria. very generous and demanding portions, there are enough for two, or for one...with much leftover! a guilty personal pleasure, as my wife is not dependent on the cousins, but a real tasty bite for me. just take away. good to order in advance.

Nous mangerons souvent un couscou royal dans notre restaurant préféré à La Roche-sur-Yon et c est quelque chose d'autre, bon c est également plus cher, en bref pour montrer qu'il peut convenir mais pour le plus gourmand vous mai être déçu. Sinon une réception agréable et un service unique.

Nous allons à Hocine depuis des années, toujours un traité, toujours bien reçu. La semoule est fine et aérée, les portions sont généreuses, le savoureux bouillon. Si j'avais juste une remarque, cela concernerait les merguez qui manquent de qualité. Mais la quantité de rapport qualité et le prix sont imbattables! Amusez-vous !
