We visited during our recent stay, both had mussels, I had the garlic cream sauce and husband had white wine. Both excellent and enjoyed with a rose wine. Always busy with locals and holidaymakers.

We arrived about 8pm and the place was packed, queued for a table for about 5 mins. But it was well worth the wait. The place was vey buzzy and the staff were excellent. Had the house Salad to start followed by a huge portion of Moules Marininere, that we could not finish! Large bowls are provided for the shells too. The Moules Marininere, were delicious, and possibly one of the best we have ever had, great value. We had a nice bottle of Rose too. Could not fault the place and they were still queuing up to come in when we left. Lots of families here to all tucking into the Moules Marininere! No frills just good food and good service. If we are in this area again we will be back!

When we went to the city center, it was easily spotted that this restaurant is the star of the village. Definitely attract the locals and also tourists, so it must offer a good deal. We tried and we satisfied. :) I have to say that they have a friendly children atmospher although they don't have any children corner. We were 2 adults with 2 boys under 4 years old and both were super tired but very hungry. It was quite chaotic situation. They wanted to eat but also wanted to make drama. The good thing was... no one in the restaurant cares about that. No one made a fuss. It seems that they are get used to it and just go on. We were very relief. The food came very fast and we ate as fast as possible and leaved... :) It is very recommended!

We went here twice on our holiday. The first time everything was really good. Food was good and more than enough. Service was good too. The second time the food was even better, but this time the service was a bit worse. Because it was about 5 minutes before the kitchen opened for dinner we couldn't order yet and had to wait 5 more minutes... The saffron sauce was excellent.

Funny place, good coffee and the food was alright. They let dogs inside the restaurant and the dog was sitting on the chair eating in a plate.. Lots of locals come here to have a beer at night and it gets pretty lively.

We ended driving in town quite late for lunch just short of 3pm and were hoping to find something besides a fast food. We ended at L'Oceanic by accident and because it seemed to still be serving. We had no problem getting confirmation we'd be served lunch with a few menu limitations given the late hour. That turned out quite ok as the folks around us who had clearly started earlier where all having mussels and fries (they offer three different options if I recall) and we went for those two being on the ocean. These were copious, fresh (duh!) and delicious. Together with a quick ice cream desert, this was exactly what we were looking for.

I am doing this review based on one item. The Moules Marinières (mussels with a white wine and shallot sauce). I have never been a mussels fan, but was watching so many customers gulping down mussel after mussel. I was served a large bowl of mussels with creamy white wine sauce. The garlic, onion and parsley seasonings were perfect enough to make you want to lick the juice off the shells so that you didn't miss any. The serving was more than I could eat, although I made a heck of a dent in it. The accompanying side was fries, which were very good, but they weren't why I wrote this review. Make sure you buy a bottle of white wine to go along with it, because it all works so well together. I hope to be able to come up with a reasonable copy of the mussels recipe and try it myself as I am craving more. The atmosphere was very french. The outdoor seating was shaded by a large canopy where you could people watch to your hearts content. If you get the opportunity to ever get there, I hear the French people claim this to be one of the best places to enjoy mussels. I also want to point out the reasonable price and attentive service. Top notch.
