Fish city should have tasty fish, but not in this place. In the pic below you can see the order, taste was tasteless, really. Don't remember when i ate something similarly tasteless. And very expensive. Aioli (fillet) and Red fish (fillet) not recommended at all. Only host was great! Service (waiter) made no recommendations. Not recommended.

We were staying at a campsite near to the town and La Ciotat has a weekly market on Mondays so we decided to walk in and look around. Market was quite big and as this restaurant is right next to the market we decided to have some lunch here. The staff were very friendly and we all had pizzas which were nice.If you are in La Ciotat looking for a Pizza I would recommend this restaurant.

Tried a few restaurants in La Ciotat while on a 7 day holiday. This is the best. Try the crepes. Very good. The service is excellent and quick, the menu is varied, they stay open all day (which most restaurants in La Ciotat don't.) The staff are all very friendly. Not cordon bleu, but a fantastic choice for a lovely lunch.

Visited this restaurant for a short lunch in the end of February. What I can appreciate is a very friendly owner and fresh mussles. Of course interior is nothing special but food was really good, service was fast and price affordable. I do not think that this restaurant (with tables located 10 cm from each other) could be suitable for a dinner but absolutely fine for a short break after a walk around La Ciotat. Basing on fact that we were here in winter time we could not enjoy the marine view.

The service is very good. There is a lot of choice on the menu. We chose two salads (really good but rather a small portion) and mussels with fries (nice taste but the mussels were rapidly cold.)

Best fresh fish best best mussels I have ever had. And I travel all the time. The mussels come in different sauces. The freshest and no iodine taste. Exquisite seafood here. Very very simple local place. No tourists when we were here. Owner speaks English as does some of the staff. Wonderful view of the port where they rebuild huge ships

Love at first sightWelcoming decor that draws you from the street into the doors (or on the patio).

About 15 miles from Marseille is a beautiful fishing village called Cassis.
