I was looking forward to trying this place out as I heard some good reviews from friends. THe set menu for entree / plat / dessert cost 50 euros which is OK if the food quality is good. We were 3 and were rather disappointed with the menu and ultimately with the food we chose. The scalops were just tasteless. My brother took a tomato appetizer and was really let down. Main course was duck, pork and gambas. None of the 3 was especially good. Deserts were also a disappointment. On the positive side the service (the chef himself) was rather good. The wine by the glass was expensive and nothing special. I will not return to this place and do not recommend it.Drive 5 minutes down the street and try "Le Blanc Manger". The menu is much more elaborate and the price lower.
I've been to this restaurant for my birthday with my boyfriend.When we parked the car and had a look at the hotel we thought it would be a smart (and expensive) place. First I've been surprised by the reception : very "cheap", not tidy... then we arrived in the room we were going to have diner : really small, as son as you say something everybody knows... I didn't really dare talking... The starter (foie gras) was original and good, but not more.the main course (veau) was good but not exceptionalbut the dessert (mi-cuit au chocolat) was excellent!!!!The waiter was kind but quite "strange"...To conclude : we would have pay less for a better taste in another restaurant I think...
I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and everything was excellent from the starter an homemade gravlax marinated in salt and vodka and the foie GRAS amazing. The veal was extra and the shrimps with saint Jacques awesome the dessert remind me my grandmother's French toast the service was perfect. The restaurant is very cosy and intimate the fournitures are new . The next time I ll take a room to appreciate the Place longer!!! I recommend this restaurant
It's a good choice for a short and diversus stay. The rooms are not so large, clean and well furnished but there is no minibar and if you are hursty you have to drink the 'provencal' water Wich is not exactly delicious. The service is not so bad but not at the level I expected for.The breakfast' buffet is not so large and not so full of choiches ... But the atmosphere was magic during the dinner and the food too. This was the reason for which I appreciated this location
