We thought we would try the 13 euros set lunch just for the experience and without much expectation. We were pleasantly surprised. It was good and at an amazing price too. We skipped the soup as the weather was too hot but had the starter, main course of sirloin steak, choice of three sweets, followed by coffee, oh and yes a quarter litre of house wine was included in the 13 euros! The service was efficient and the surroundings pleasant. We had lunch on another day and the pork steak with green beans was equally good. On both occasions it was obvious the place was popular with the locals and with good reason!
Parking, sourire, serviabilité = un accueil réussite.Victime de son succès, je n'ai pu goûter à l'entrée du jour mais qui fut remplacée par une merveilleuse assiette de charcuterie et sa terrine.13€ , la soupe, l'entrée, le plat du jour, le dessert, le vin et café inclus. Bravo.Le pain très bon.Le patron dynamique est au petit soin et les serveuses magnifiques.Avec le petit soleil sur la terrasse, il est difficile de repartir.
Das kleine Restaurant ist sehr gut erreichbar mit dem Auto und ist mit viel Grün rundherum im Sommer wie im Winter ein schöner Ort zum Verweilen.Mittags wie abends ist das Restaurant gut besucht jedoch fühlt man sich nie wie in einem Kettenrestaurant da der Inhaber stets persönlich und individuell auf die Wünsche seiner Kunden eingeht. Täglich lässt er und sein aufgestelltes Team sich neue Ideen einfallen um auch wiederkehrenden Gästen eine angenehme Abwechslung zu bieten - jedoch bleiben die Preise sehr günstig! Für 13 Euro gibt es leckere hausgemachte Suppe, Salat, Hauptgang, Dessert, Kaffee sowie 1 dl Wein. Die Gänge sind stets aus frischen, regionalen Produkten, die er von bekannten Händlern/Produzenten aus der Gegend bezieht. Die Familie des Inhabers ist bereits seit einigen Jahrzehnten im Gastgewerbe mit Herzblut tätig und wiederspiegelt die Lebensfrohe Art der Franzosen.An der Bar ist man auch immer bereit für einen Apéro mit Snacks und wenn man will, witzigen Gesprächen mit dem Chef und seinen jungen Serveusen.Sobald es das Wetter zulässt ist die Terrasse offen wo man das absolute Sommerfeeling bekommt.Auch wenn das Restaurant direkt an der Strasse liegt bemerkt man dies kaum, da sehr selten Autos vorbeifahren.Definitiv einen Besuch Wert wenn man in der Gegend ist und gerne weg von den Touristenburgen ein schmackhaftes Menü geniesst.
Ce petit restaurant est vraiment un endroit à ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage dans la magnifique région du Lot. D'une part pour la qualité des plats servi, les menu du jours, délicieux, et les incontournables salades quercynoises, mais aussi pour son ambiance. Le lieu est un vrai point de rencontre, où règne la bonne humeur et la convivialité, où l'on échange, ressent la vie de la région. Bref un lieu comme on en fais plus trop, attachant, où l'on se sent toujours bienvenue, et qui donne envie d'y revenir. Cerise sur le gâteau, le gérant saura vous donner les bon plans du coin, méconnu du plus grand nombre.Bref, à faire !
Lovely bar/restaurant in typical French village where I bought a house 16 years ago. Previously the restaurant appeared very run down but since Cedric and his staff have been there, the standards have been elevated to a very high standard and I have enjoyed coffee mornings and lunches there on many occasions. Whatever I have eaten or drunk there has been delicious and well-presented. Cedric and his staff are always laughing and this helps create a superb atmosphere with both locals and visitors. In good weather I recommend dining outside under the large parasols. A superb restaurant that I recommend and will certainly visit many more times. See you there?
This Restaurant is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Lamagdelaine. Having lived in France for over twelve years, I can honestly say it is the best and friendliest restaurant I have been in.The owner, Cedric, and his staff are always friendly and attentive and go out of their way to ensure that all their customers have a good experience, whether it be for a coffee or a lunch. Locals mix with visitors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Special diets are catered for by the chef and,as in most French restaurants, children are made very welcome. The food is amazing and excellent value for money. I cannot recommend this restaurant too highly.
