Le Baratin de l'Ardoise Réserver une table

We visited this restaurant while staying in the Ardeche, 4 adults and 3 children. The menu du jour was great value at 14,50€. It was a bit unclear exactly what each dish entailed and the ever moving chalkboard made it all the more difficult. Even so, we made our choices and were happy with the food. The wine menu was uninspiring and the lack of description made it difficult to choose so we opted for beer. The teenager menu seemed less good value in comparison and the children's menu was cheap and slightly uninspired, luckily chicken nuggets is a favourite for our 2! Unfortunately they were served frozen and when the replacement was served the waitress told us there had been nothing wrong with the first ones. We assured her they were frozen and she simply shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The service was the biggest disappointment and the reason we would not return.

Despite being full to the brim with people, the service was really quite good. Lots of classic comfort food items - no frills but very tasty. My vegetarian tasting plate was a mix of classic and unfamiliar and thoroughly enjoyable. My friend had duck and wasn't satisfied with his pick, so it might be better to stick to the less exotic items for a better experience. The desserts, chestnut cake, chocolate cake and berry tiramisu, were a bit pedestrian so you can skip them without feeling you are missing out. The atmosphere is jolly and bustling. They serve pizza, but I wouldn't call it a pizza restaurant and it is great for a fun night out but not a place for a romantic one on one.The

We had an amazing time there! Great atmosphere, great people & service and above all great great food for a more than reasonable price! Def recommend it!

We both took the 'plat du jour' and 1 'menu d'enfant'. All they served was of a good quality, tasty for both mouth and eyes. Prizes very reasonable or rather call it cheap... We are in a touristic place in France during high high season..?!? There are a few restaurants in this picturesque alley, but this looks by far the most coziest/trendiest... Service was good but a bit slow... Maybe to busy by that time.. Due to the market day..?!? Anyway.. Not a big issue for us... Had a good table on the terrace in the shade, with a good bottle of wine. And enough people to look at.. So what else to wish..?!?

Je recommande ce restaurant que nous sommes bien reçus et il est chaud. Les serveuses sont amicales souriantes. Je ne connaissais pas le trio de verrines au moins le contenu et la serveuse bien expliquée et je voulais essayer de ne pas regretter un vrai plaisir.

Plein de douceur et de délicatesse, nous avons passé un moment très heureux au Baratin du Slate, l'accueil est chaleureux, les plaques sont pleines de poésie et de sincérité, la viande succulente. Un nouvel endroit aux prix de la dérisoire !

Un moment agréable partagé avec la famille. Restaurant très accueillant et savoureux; Où tout est fait à la maison. À notre grande étonnement un vrai menu de chef et cela à un petit prix!! Service avec un sourire ! Petits plats dans les grands, autant que possible nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir aux papilles de toute la famille

Nous sommes allés déjeuner dans votre restaurant et je dois vous dire que nous étions satisfaits de tout point de vue! Une serveuse très accueillante et notre public ! qui est rare aujourd'hui!!! menus très bien préparés avec le choix préparé à la maison et très frais!!! très bons desserts ! et surtout pas de mauvaises surprises à l'addition !!finement pour terminer Je recommande ce restaurant pour le rapport qualité prix !! mais aussi pour la gentillesse de la serveuse et le savoir-faire du cuisinier! Nous reviendrons à un groupe en septembre!!
