Owner friendly and welcoming and there is a nice sunny terrace but it was the food that really made the place. The decor in the bar is deff alpine cafe not restaurant style but the toilets are very modern and clean, obviously new, with baby changing facilities. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection -not easy to find in my opinion - and my partner had dish of day which was 14 euros for 3 courses including a to die for homemade panna cotta (apparently the chef is Italian) which I shared (stole). They had a nice house rose too. Good for families as food is restaurant quality but didn't feel I had to tie my excitable daughter to the chair and constantly 'sush' her as the terrace had a lively, sunny and friendly atmosphere.

Never eaten here but always call in for a beer after a ride - the owner is a very friendly guy and everyone working there makes you feel welcome - go on, give it a go.

Good food, good service, good location. Frequented this place after cycling in the alps, very popular with other visiting cyclists, for the obvious reasons above.

A small group, four in number, waiting for our pick up to Lyon Airport on Sunday had coffee. They don't have croissants there but are happy for you to visit the Boulangerie and buy your own to eat with them. The time progressed and we decided we would have an early lunch, which was a typical classic menu. One of our travellers attempted to order a salad "without Foie Gras" which the waitress looked askance at and simply said "No" but she did suggest an alternative which was consumed with gusto. Other had beef on a bed of rocket, great and tasty. Good value, good food and central location.

Popped in for quick croque and was tempted by the plat du jour - choice of 2 - sole meunière and faux fillet with the most amazing sauce - truffle and mushroom we guessed - the owner was welcoming and house wine was perfect - cannot recommend highly enough

Really great place to have good wholesome food after a hard day in the saddle. Usually 6 mains 2 burgers 2 salads 1 pasta and steak. Very reasonable prices in mid summer they have an English waitress who takes the hassle out of having to practise your french.

Lunch. I took an omelette, which was a bit bland and that was suprising. Overall seemed average French lunch restaurant.
