Had a lovely lunch here with our family, it was so nice to have a light meal, as we don't always want the full 3 courses for lunch. The owners were really friendly, will definitely be back and maybe try one of the burgers next time. Thanks .

We really enjoyed our visit to this unique and welcoming restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and was of excellent quality. The interior is very atmospheric with an interesting history. Ray and Sally were the perfect hosts, and made us extremely welcome. We definitely be returning, thank you!

We stopped here on a Sunday with a tour group for lunch. The new owners took over the café this summer. They are from England. The buffet had something for everyone. It included a variety of different very tasty salads, vegetable soup and meats. For dessert we had a flaming fruit cake. We would recommend this Café for a delicious lunch.

I recently took friends out for lunch in le Dorat at La Petite Fontaine. I was staggered at the size inside and the feeling of spaciousness. We had the "Chef's Special" - BBQ Ribs and they were really delicious - so much so that we ordered another portion. We even got the bones back to take home for the dogs. Thankfully, there was no loud music drowning out our conversation. I absolutely love the place and will certainly be back there when I am finally resident in Le Dorat in 2017.

This restaurant opened for lunch on a Sunday for a 20-person tour group. They provided a homemade soup that needed salt and a buffet. There was some variety but overall, it was just OK.

La Petite Fontaine was a delightful surprise. From the outside it was not impressive. But the food and service were outstanding. We had a buffet lunch as part of a tour group. Unlike many buffets, the selection and number of dishes were staggering. The wine also was excellent. Finally, the owner was very friendly, and being from the UK, he spoke good English. We would highly recommend.

Stayed in the Le Dorat area for 2 months, June to August 2016. We were at the opening on 4th July when Ray and Sally took over. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and two of the nicest people as hosts. Have to admit we ate there quite often during those two months and the food was always delicious, freshly cooked, so no one should mind a bit of a wait as it is worth it. Burgers are great especially the chilli burger, the pizzas are generous with loads of toppings and served on a cute slate plate. Fish and chips on a Friday evening are the best, light crispy batter on the fish and big fat chips. Good strong coffee at the bar and yummy ice cream and tarts for dessert. Great prices for lovely cafe food, and always a very warm welcome from Ray and Sally. La Petite Fontaine really is the place to be!
