This place need to be closed down as it reflects poorly on the Starbucks brand. As there is no competition at night at the terminal one has no choice but to drink what was presented at a vastly inflated price. never again wil i oredr a drink from the place . The man behind the till was apologetic about the 10 euro fro two dringks charged. RIP OFF
Okay, so I am no coffee expert - Starbucks is fine for me though, typically great service, great coffee and some good snacking type food to add - however not at the Euro Tunnel terminal in Calais. Used by most people in a rush, to catch the train... the service here is consistently poor, unhelpful staff, with a can't be bothered attitude. Worst of all the coffee is rubbish, not a drop of fresh milk in site. France being a nation of food lovers, would be appalled at the food serviced and the food service.
Firstly a couple of drinks and a sandwich come to over euro I asked politely if the cashier would check the price he responded in a nasty tone to go away and read the price before I buy things then continued to moan about...me and my friend in french not realising I speak enough french to know what he was saying but the coffe was not good and in a cup which I couldn’t use as my iced drink wouldn’t go thru the hole I would not go here again even if I was desperate I’d rather starve/ go thirsty
How to be ripped off by a company blatantly overcharging because there's no competition! We arrive at the tunnel to travel home delayed by stupid people not having tge correct paperwork, not my fault, then to be delayed because a train has broken down in...the tunnel not my fault and then faced with rip off Starbucks charging euros for a sandwich???? And a poor sandwich at that!!! Starbucks you have lost three customers
