The restaurant is located right un the heart of Limoux on the Place de la Republique. Overall interior design is contemporary with both indoor and outdoor seating (during the evening there could be a little less light volume to further enhance the ambience.) We received a warm welcome from the host who talked us through the menu and wine list. We selected a Steak with French Fries/Salad and Pizza Montanara with Cream/ Mozzarella/ Onions/Speck/Potatoes/Reblochon Cheese further enhanced with a great rose from Gerard Bertrand. Food quality and presentation was perfect and service friendly and very attentive. Definitely a place for those after a genuine Italian culinary experience in the heart of beautiful Limoux
We came here for lunch between visits to the local wine cellars and were very impressed with the quality of the pizzas, plenty of cheese, nice thin bases and plenty of toppings. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the place had a nice atmosphere, we will definitely be back the next time we are in Limoux.
On the corner of the market square, this is an unpretentious restaurant serving mainly pizzas although salads and beef were also on the menu. The staff were pleasant and the service quick. There was a choice of medium or large pizzas and one of our group chose large - it was huge. If you are looking for a satisfying, quick meal this would be a good choice.
Visited La Malavita in Limoux during a weekend visit to the area. Fantastic pizza with very good service. Food good value and very tasty.My wife had goats cheese salad which was an excellent meal.People sat near us had steak and chips which looked nice and a very generous portion.Will definitely go back even next in Limoux
Decided to try this as it is a relative newcomer, and we wanted something very informal for dinner. Menu is mainly pizza, and there was a wide variety available. However, we found the bases soggy, which spoiled the meal. Also, I ordered steak hache, which must have been the smallest burger I have ever seen, and at €12.50 I expected a lot more. The plate was smoothered in chips, which were absolutely perfect and the best I have tasted anywhere! So, double the size of the steak hache, reduce the chips by half, and you will have a very good plate. The soggy base on the pizzas may have been a one off, but should be easily corrected.Service was good, attentive, and helpful. I wish them well with the venture!
