We had a lovely meal at lunch time with friends, first time to visit this restaurant. very good food.

We had the most delightful time at La Ferme du Roy. Wonderfully french home cooking, cosy and the service was a sheet pleasure. Patrick the owner has worked there for 40 years (with his father before him) and it is clear he loves his work and the normandy cuisine. We had the most delicious frites, pommes with caramel ice cream and the main were beauitfully prepared with love. I would highly recommend eating here if you would like a beautifully traditional and welcoming french meal - we felt right at home! so many thanks to Patrick and his wife the the gorgeous dinner it made our day!VERY family friendly too and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well catered for babies and little kids.

I stop over there for a quick lunch on the way back to Paris. the atmosphere is typically like an old and rich french farm. The food is excellent. A very very very nice gastronomic restaurant to eat.

My husband and I had an excellent 3-course lunch today at La Ferme du Roy. The price was amazing considering the quality of the food and the service was very friendly. We also loved the ambiance. We will definitely return should we visit the area again.

I've eaten here a couple of times previously and every time I gave been delighted with the experience. A great menu with local focus, a good wine list and the most charming and patient service. It would be too easy to drive past this place; please don't! Stop, sit and enjoy a delicious and lovely Normandy restaurant.

If you don't know were it is you might miss it. It's at about 1km from the center of Lisieux were are all the eateries for tourists and pilgrims are located. It's worth going there since we were in a hurry we took the cheap 13€ three course menu. Great.We also watch several other tables mainly local regulars, and we could see their dishes!!!.

For the equivalent of £20 per head we had a really nice 3 course meal with drinks. There was a good selection on the menu to choose from, and all of the food was typically French. The service was very good, and the restaurant had a homely feel. We will definitely return.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! I went as part of a large party and the waiters did an excellent job - even offering us a lift back to the hotel when there were no taxis available! The cidre was amazing, as was the beef steak which I had for my main. Would defintely reccomend.
