Best burger ive had during my 3 months in the area!! Raved about this one to friends and would definitely return. Waiter was a bit rude but could have been the language barrier. Reccomend

Great find. Good food. Service a little slow but very busy with only two waiters who were working very hard.

We ended up here on a Sunday evening by accident as everything else was closed. They propose good value for money menus which turned out to be good for our needs. By that, I mean the food experience was not unforgettable but it was fine and we were full at the end. One couldn't really enjoy it at this time bit the restaurant is along the coast offering a nice view. Also therefore the prices are not shocking. To be considered, no one ordered mussels or fishs what seem to be the specialities (and the reasons for most of the critics) I would have put four stars if the service was not cold.

It was good food with good service. We had salmon, moules, fish soup. The service was good and bilingual for those who need it. Servings were well done and dessert was plentiful. A pretty good deal.

This was the nearest restaurant to where we were staying in Luc sur Mer, but I have to say that my Moules were the best I've had- small, succulent and tasty, and plenty of them. Service friendly.

During our 5 night stay in Luc-sur-Mer we went to L'Escapade twice even though there were many more choices. The first night we arrived late, it was raining (actually pouring rain) and this was the closest (walking) restaurant and one of the only ones open late on a Sunday night so that's where we went. It was certainly fortuitous as we really were looking forward to a bottle of wine and a light meal at 10 PM after a long drive from Paris. We were pleasantly surprised with everything, including the fact that the owner/manager and waitress spoke adequate English to accommodate our requests. The food (mussels with frites and entrecote with frites) was delicious...and the choices of how the mussels were prepared where great too (with Roquefort or Camembert cheese). Very nice evening and we would recommend it highly for a relaxed atmosphere and a reasonably priced menu with lots of variety.

Duck was more fat than meat-over cooked. Salad was brown and consisted of lettuce only-water was tepid. Surly staff.

Our appetizers and entrees (fish) were both a bit overdone. The desserts were amazing. I have to say that the burgers two tables over looked incredible.
