A nice place to sit outside with a beer and watch the world go by outside the train station and opposite Hotel Chenal where we were staying. A lovely park nearby too.

Very good food. Very nice, helpful and careful staff. That's a really good restaurant. They also created a really elegant atmosphere. Something you don't expect to find in front of a train station. Congratulations.

Arrived off the train with a few hours to kill before a flight and with a taste for something tasty and French. I literally just crossed the street and into Le Kiosque. I had to eat in the bar (no problem, watched the football!), but the restaurant looks great. I had the duck - 'pot au feu' they called it, and it was excellent traditional fare. A deep bowl with superb local veg. topped with a large duck leg and foie gras. Fantastic. Tarte au Poire for afters. A great spot. And the shuttle bus for the airport leaves just outside the door! You arrive at the station of Beauvais and see a typical kiosk. Then it grows as you turn the corner. On a warm day you can sit outside and either street watch or look over the pretty park behind. We went there to eat pork, a speciality on a Thursday evening and it was deliciousAs normal it is cheaper to eat at midday and the evening menu is not the cheapest but the quality and choice are excellent

I was very bad surprised when trying to get some lunch on Saturday at 2 pm. The kitchen was already closed, no food served at all. If food is not serving in my opinion is more bar or pub than restaurant.

First night of a long weekend in Beauvais and we were hunting around for food. Le Kiosque is situated on the edge of a small park opposite the railway station. Given it's name and it's situation I was not expecting too much. How wrong could I be. We entered through a small trendy cokctail bar, and were directed through a hidden door into the Restaurant at the back. Here we found Waiters dressed in formal attire and tables properly set. The ambience was that of a very high end 4/5 star restaurant with lovely views of the Park through the full length heated windows. We were presented with our menus and a specials board, all in French. Now my French is not very good at all, and despite taking an educated guess on some of the dishes, some were beyond me. Our waiter could not have been more helpful, translating everything into english for us. His passion for the food shone through and he was clearly pleased to show off his grasp of the english language. I can't remember now what I had for starter and main course but I recall that it was all well cooked and beautifully presented. The one thing I can remember is the Dessert - Omelette Norvegienne - a form of baked alaska, with Meringue, ice cream and fruit, flambed at the table. What a way to end a meal. If you are ever in the area, remember that looks can deceive and don't miss this little gem.

Good food served by a good waiter. Everyone was really nice and proffesional. I took a main course plus a dessert, and it was not so expensive. I would recommend !
