This Italian restaurant is located on the upper level of a piazza close to the beach in a good location - don't confuse it with Caffe Bellini on the lower level, which is not in the same class. Good views across the harbour where the sunset can be watched.Portions are large of good quality and freshly cooked. They don't mind you sharing, which we noticed a number of couples were doing. We shared a starter of baked aubergine with tomatoes and cheese served with a fresh well mixed dressed salad, which was very tasty. Fresh bread was served together with a free bottle of chilled water provided. My main course was fillet of beef with gorganzola sauce, which had two fillets served with gnocchi and was well cooked and delicious. We also had lasagne, which was a large portion served with a dressed green salad. It was freshly cooked and light with great flavours. Parmesan and fresh bread were also served. We each had a glass of the house red wine, which was a reasonable Sangiovese are a realistic cost. Overall cost was circa Euro65, which we considered to be reasonably priced for the quality of food received. The waiters could speak only a little English, but were friendly and helpful and service was efficient. Only hiccup was that we were given the wrong (lower) bill, which we duly pointed out. We will certainly visit again next time we are here - indeed we did try to revisit three days later, but they were closed due to the bank holiday that week. One tip if you like ice cream. Don't have a dessert at the restaurant, but go round the corner, where there is a great Italian ice cream shop, which is a fraction of the restaurant price.
