When you check internet what to eat in Marseille, you find very good classical tastes. Let me propose you a usual starting with a drink at one of the terraces just around the harbour during sunset watching the burning sky and then, don’t eat much, don’t eat fast, just delicious mixes for a comfortable sleep: a Michelin guided restau with high ceilings and a relaxing decoration. No issue for starter and dish. Information for the people who complains about the dish sizes of innovative or art restaus: they also serve bread that you can taste more the creative sauces of starters and main dishes .

while staying at the hotel montgrand, we decided to try the restaurant for lunch as we were so happy about the hotel. it was a great idea! eating is excellent and simple, light enough for a lunch when it is warm outside. they can either sit inside or outside (we have chosen us under shady). service was friendly. we had salate, well composed and refreshing. the personal speaks English so it was easy enough to order. great wee too. as with desserts they have a good choice, including very innovative products such as ice creams and small cakes. we took one of each and loved both.

we stopped for lunch. the garden is beautiful and comfortable and casual. there is a menu choice where they can compose their salat from several choices. I chose three and was very happy with the three. the glass rose wine also. emkipops for...dessert were strange and I never would have one again. the blacksesame felt after a few licking at my side gritty. my firefighter didn't appreciate the strawberry oil.

This light airy cafe attached to a gallery space was an excellent choice for lunch. The menu is short but the various dishes we had were all fresh and inviting. Service was friendly if a tad on the slow side with English spoken....House wine on offer the red we had was perfectly pleasant.
