I stayed at the Villa de Mazamet earlier this month and the owners recommended Marseillais as a place to eat.The venue is delightful and the food, especially the pizza delicious. What really made the experience great for me however was the delightful service and company of the owner, Olga and her mother Dolores. It was a pleasure to meet them and they always made me feel welcome, which was a relief as I was a solo diner and a bit nervous. So merci Olga et Dolores a bientot Julie

When staying in Mazamet we were recommended to go here for dinner one evening, and were not disappointed. Simple food but well done and at a good price. Excellent pizzas. Olga is a great host and enjoys speaking English. Packed with locals which speaks volumes. Definitely worth a visit if in Mazamet!

We ate here out of desperation and truly were surprised. It doesn't look much from the outside but the meal and service was a delight. Seems to be very popular with the locals too.Great freshly baked pizza and pasta with little touches of brilliance. Well done and keep up the good work

This place is a real find. We started with the waitress' suggestion of a Muscat aperitif with involtini (asparagus wrapped in ham crostini) We followed up with half pizza/salad (creamy base with chicken/pineapple) and Roquefort tagliatelle. Topped off with a shared cafe gourmand. All delicious. We tried to speak French, failed and lapsed in to Spanish. Waitress was fluent in both plus English, Italian and smattering of Portuguese. It sure is a small world and this little pizzeria is great value, and great fun.

We had reservations for 8 o'clock but we show up 30 minutes late apologizing but they were laughing about it .The Lady boss was really friendly and she took our order. Our food came and we were glad we choose the half pizza half salad .The portions were really generous. The pizzas are unusual some with duck foie gras and duck confit. All of them were excellent.I really enjoy the dessert selection who came as a sampling of 4 desserts and a coffee .Good price good food good atmosphere perfect evening thank you.

The Gaillac red wine, 2011, called Elegance and the lovely welcome from Olga. Cosy & friendly. Italian themed menu with french meals too.

Don't be put off if this little pizzeria seems deserted, you'll find plenty of locals eating outside if the weather is fine - the terrace is accessed from a side road. The pizzas were large and delicious, the house wine good and the price reasonable. Closed Mondays.
