We were here last year and only had time for a drink after walking up to the Falls but when we saw the food being served up to others we made a promise to return when we came back to Morzine this year.We booked a table when we arrived at the lake and then went for a walk. As well we did as the terrace was full when we returned.The set menus look very good value but we didn't want three courses so two of us had local fish dishes and my daughter had one of the speciality salads. Service was really friendly and the food perfectly cooked. Portion sizes were generous. The setting for the restaurant is sublime. It was truly a memorable lunch and we will be going back there before we return home
Whilst on holiday in the area we stopped here for a midday meal. Despite being busy they were able to accommodate three of us without notice. We had an excellent meal ( fondue) the service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant is in a lovely situation at the end of the lake of Montriond easily accessible both on foot and by car. Would certainly visit again when in the area.
What a lovely setting! This restaurant is open for most of the year which is good to know as lots of places shut down in low season. It's situated right on the lake and the views are stunning. We chose a set menu for €22 which was 3 courses and really good food. The children's menu at €10 is great value for an omelette, chips and salad - it also included an ice cream. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
We're here out of season and have found it difficult to eat out as everything is on shut down. After a walk just up the road we decided to try our luck at getting some food.We were offered omelette, crepes, cheese and ham but when we explained we wanted something more filling they opened up the kitchen specially for us and cooked the most beautiful huge steak and fries.We were well looked after and the, I assume is the owner is the cutest lady who did her best at English or tried to make herself understood.Can't say thank you enough for looking after our belly's.
