We went to Montsegur to visit the Castle which is amazing and thought we would visit the nearby village for lunch.We eventually decided on this café because it had seating outside under shading. It took a little while to find a chair that looked clean as they are obviously not in the habit of wiping them down!Eventually a woman came out of the café with a menu and deposited it on the table and walked off. If she had a fag hanging out of the corner of her mouth it would not have been out of place!!When a larger woman came out to take our order with a look of total disinterest we really felt as if we had come to the wrong place.As it was lunchtime I thought I would order a panini from the menu .... "No Panini"I attempted a sandwich a Catalan from the menu my wife ordered an Onion Tart and frites which arrived hot and was tasty. I ordered a Catalan sandwich and frites. The drinks a beer and a perier arrived in cans with two disposable plastic tumblers. The food! Arrived. Mine in a paper sleeve and the frites in a little plastic disposable tray. My wife's tart and salad arrived on a disposable plastic plate and frites in a tray the same as mine. At least she got a knife and fork to eat her lunch with. My sandwich must have been filled from the other side of the room and despite the menu was totally devoid of salad, not a single leaf.Did I complain? No, there are plenty of tourists and they clearly didn't give a damn. Unfortunately I didn't have a signal friends Tripadvisor otherwise I would have known that the number 1 and 2 were just a few yards away - ah well :-/

We were noticed a quarter of an hour after arriving, we ordered two ham sandwiches, two classic panini and two portions of fries. sandwiches and panini had the same baked bread, no butter with ham (of poor quality), the panini were, uh, how to say. Bad. Fries? cold, soft, with small traces of burnt product on it. A beautiful scam.The staff? short everywhere by sweating, no organization, gets lost in the few square meters of the terrace and the room...A trap, and the worst!

Very poor service. The coffee when it finally turned up was unidentifiable as such. It didn't look, taste or smell like coffee. It resembled sludge! Undrinkable. Walk on by...

service très médiocre. le café, lorsqu'il apparut enfin, n'était pas reconnaissable en tant que tel. il n'avait pas l'air, le goût ou l'odeur du café. ça ressemble à de la boue ! incroyable. plus.

nous sommes allés à Montségur pour visiter le bourg, ce qui est incroyable et avons pensé visiter le village voisin pour le déjeuner. nous avons finalement opté pour ce café car il se trouve dehors à l'ombre. il a fallu du temps pour trouver une chaise qui ait l'air... pure car visiblement ils n'ont pas l'habitude de les flouter ! Finalement, une femme sortit du café avec un menu, le déposa sur la table et s'en alla. Si elle avait eu une chatte qui pendait au coin de sa bouche, cela n'aurait pas été déplacé ! lorsqu'une femme plus grande est venue prendre notre commande avec un regard d'inattention totale, nous avons vraiment eu l'impression de nous être trompés d'endroit. quand c'était le déjeuner, je pensais commander un panini dans le menu. pas de panini J'ai essayé un sandwich catalanique dans le menu, ma femme a commandé un plat à l'oignon et un frit qui sont arrivés chauds et étaient délicieux. J'ai commandé un sandwich catalan et des frites. les boissons, une bière et une bière, étaient présentées en doses avec deux pots en plastique jetables. manger! le mien dans une blouse en papier et les frites dans un petit comprimé jetable en plastique. la tarte et la salat de ma femme sont arrivées sur une assiette en plastique et frites dans une tablette qui est la même pour moi. au moins, elle a un couteau et une fourchette pour déjeuner. mon sandwich devait être rempli de l'autre côté de la pièce et malgré le menu, il était totalement exempt de salat, pas d'une seule feuille. non, il y a beaucoup de touristes, et ils s'en foutaient. Malheureusement, je n'avais pas de signal sur TripAdvisor, sinon j'aurais su que les numéros 1 et 2 n'étaient qu'à quelques mètres.
