Enjoyed a pleasant meal here. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. The service was busy (hence slow) but that seems to go with the style of the place: enjoy a leisurely meal at a pace slightly slower then your digestive system. There is a "menu of the day" which is mid-ranged priced, served quicker than the menu, not too complicated and very good. I can recommend the house wines - don't spend time on the wine card, just ask the head waiter what house wine to drink with what. The atmosphere and deco is old-world but comfortable and, it would seem, the place is often busy: you may want to reserve.Although I enjoyed my meal (and company) I felt that the service was thin on the ground, either someone was missing from the service team or they were saving on costs. My side of noodles and our wine was placed on a side table behind me and no one appeared at the right moment to serve it. A case of "self service" apparently.
