We visited for dinner. They don't speak English, so it may not be for everyone. It was fine for us though. My French is pretty good, although nowhere near fluent. We just had trouble with translating a couple of items on the menu that didn't appear in my pocket dictionary or my French food guide.You need to book as it is very popular.The food was outstanding. This is a lovely place - very well worth seeking it out.
le restaurant est tout simplement magnifique, grande terrasse, animée, câline et drôle. le menu est du poisson, du poisson et encore du poisson que j'adore. il y a un grand choix de fruits de mer et de poissons. J'ai eu le thunfish et il était parfaitement cuit et mon homme avait le patin qui était incroyable avec de bons gros félins. les deux espèces de poissons étaient parfaitement cuites. le pipi que nous avons choisi complète également parfaitement l’alimentation. dans la semaine, ils proposent également un menu pour le déjeuner qui avait l'air incroyable lorsque nous avons vu le caissier de la cuisine. nous reviendrons certainement. oh, et s'ils sont intéressés à y aller, je leur conseillerais de réserver car c'était naturellement occupé.
this unusual and out of the seafood restaurant is good to look for, as that was eating everything delicious. the service was excellent and very friendly. if you are not French, they have a really useful card with the names of all...Fish they serve, with translation into four different languages
this small rustic restaurant is located directly outside of the rustelle near the bridge to il de re and in the oysters easily inland....fresh platelets of seafood decorate the tables and we lunch in sunny gratitude. a busy place so reserve and seemingly with...not only tourist, but repeat native. very friendly staff and the menu has a lot of other choices if sea food is not their choice. very good and out of the trubel by la rochelle.
As the name says, this is a 'cabane ' (shack); nevertheless, a very nicely decorated and comfortable one! Of course we went for seafood all the way. Oysters, shrimp and clams to start with; absolutely fresh and delicious! As main course we went for 'gambas flambés '...and monkfish; both perfectly cooked and with a delicious sauce. All perfectly accompanied bu a local Sauvignon from Ile-de-Ré! What a memorable diner...
