After a shopping spree at Lafayette we need to have a break and eat lunch. What a waste of money. The onion soup was tasteless and left the bowl full, the fish and ships was a failure no tartar sauce and the fish was kind of soggy. The salmon platter (starter) was good so was the Caesar salad. Overall not recommended

Expensive place, bad quality food, small plates. The most bad soup d'ognoin that I had ever try. Returned and switch per lemon pie, terrible too. Also order a lasagne was only Bechamel sauce and cold. I left it on the plate. Not a clean place either.

located at the 6th floor of the iconic galerie Lafayette luxury Paris dept store. nice and varieted buffet at affordable price. the only minus is that the place is crowded and EXTREMLY NOISY. but overall experience is very positive.

I agree with the reviewer who said "wins our worst meal in Paris award." I suppose the brasseries in the crowded tourist areas are as bad or worse, but we usually avoid those places. Nothing in the Lafayette Cafeteria looked appealing to us, so we went to the counter between the souvenir shop and the entrance to the toilettes. We got two coffees and shared a sandwich. The sandwich was edible, but the bread tasted like a USA hot dog bun, the cheese looked and tasted like Kraft American slices, and the meat was flavorless. The coffees were standard fare.

From shopping at Galleries Lafayette, that is, and visit this cafeteria style cafe. A large selection of food and drink. I see some reviewers were not impressed, but I thought the value was great and our food was good. Nice views of Paris. In the summer go up one more level to the terrace for even better views.

Nothing really interesting about this place. It is a selfservice cafeteria with very below average food.

I love to leave positive reviews. Unfortunately this is not one of them. I'm not sure how an establishment ruins a salad bar, but Layfayette Cafe managed to lower itself to the occasion. A salad looked like the the most appetizing and safest bet in a sea of mediocre choices, and all four adults in our party went with this option. Ugh, the bland and uninspiring offerings resulted in us leaving most of it on our plate. The rude cashier and children running around screaming and crying topped off a truly awful dining experience. Please do yourself a favor a choose somewhere else to eat. You may want to scout a restroom elsewhere as well, the women's was overflowing with trash and extremely dirty.

The Cafe on the top floor of Galeries Lafayette has always been one of my most favorite and while it is not as budget as it once was it still provides a great place to relx for couple of hours with a select what you like cafeteria style meal, a glass of wine or beer, or maybe something sweet while you plan the next part of your day in Paris. The views are great. Make sure you go up to the roof.
