We were staying at a nearby hotel and found this small bar. It had a wonderful Parisian atmosphere ( even though it was an Italian bar!). Out of 4 nights we went there for three evenings, we loved their plate of cheeses with a glass or two of Malbec! The young lady who was front of house went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. We loved it.
I was looking for a quick bite for lunch. This cafe was 1/2 block from my hotel so I popped. One waiter seated me outside and almost immediately, another waiter came out and started speaking loudly at me in French. I asked for English; no English. He then just took my place service and moved it to another table and left. I moved, too, and eventually got lunch so I guess that's what he wanted??? Despite the language barrier and confusion, food is really good.
La terrasse est vraiment sympa, hiver comme été, et les prix des boissons sont correct.Par contre, l'interieur n'est pas très engageant, et la nourriture est vraiment médiocre. A chaque fois que j'ai essayé d'y manger, grosse déception. Plats insipides, très basique, limite cantine. C'est dommage
very nice local, me and my girlfriend went over once, the first night we took two cocktails and were very good, the second we went to dinner and took steak with excellent meat, and after dinner two cocktails. one of the two fell by breaking the glass, the really nice staff, didn't even make us pay the cocktail.
On se croirait dans un "routier" ;-((( C'est bruyant, les convives boivent pas mal, surtout ceux du Bar... parce qu'il y a un Bar. Les photos des mets sont très jolies. CE que l'on vous sert un peu moins.Bon point, le service n'est pas souriant mais rapide. Si vous être pressé... Sinon, allez ailleurs.
