Visited here on blustery February teatime. Tiny tearoom with big character. They have a huge variety of teas plus some unusual other hot drinks. I had something akin to a hot citron presse with honey sweetening it instead of sugar. Pure nectar. Couldn't resist the homemade scones - one look at them arriving at the table next to ours and ordered immediately. Accompanied by homemade raspberry jam infused with violets. Heaven! Great attention to detail. All fine bone china cups and saucers. An absolutely delight. We will definitely be returning there on our next trip into Poitiers. Oh, and the old teapot bird feeders on the tree outside were great. Fab idea.

Very unique and special. A small menu/selection but all freshly made in terms of food. The muffins are delicious. Amazing tea menu and ambience. Best for the summer with the tables outside. Book if you are going for lunch on a Saturday as it's often fully booked. Small so not great with a pram - except in summer when you can be outside. Staff are lovely and charming.

it was a gem to find in the busy shopping centre, tucked along a little alley and you sat looking at the huge apartments reminiscent of Paris. For us the bonus was a good, choice of lovely vegetarian food, do not get me wrong, give me a steak, but in France veggie dishes are hard to find, most restaurants think it acceptable to,cube veg and present half s dozen fancy shaped, thinking that is a meal, no idea of protein requirements unless packing the plate with meat. So visit, they on,y open from midday to early evening, but always busy. Yeas of every type. Just nice and different.

Behind a small gate, through a passage, you will find a very nice courtyard. The lunch is very tasty and the teas are very aromatic. You will easily discover their secret ingredient: love!

We found this tea room by accident as we were walking through the city on a Monday looking for a snack. The tiny restaurant is delightful and so was the welcome from the owner, who also speaks good English. We each had a different salad (delicious and plentiful) and two of us shared a desert (I wish I had ordered one all to myself!) The food and teas were superb and excellent value. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner who, upon learning that we were looking for a children's clothes shop open that day, actually went out to a shop in a nearby street to check that it was open - where would you find that degree of helpfulness in the UK? I look forward to returning to the restaurant next time I am in Poitiers.

Everything is freshly prepared and organic. A large selection of teas and a pretty mix of china. Smiling helpful staff. A hidden gem in the centre of Poitiers.

Excellent food, a tiny quirky place in Poitiers. I went there for lunch and had a delicious honey, pear and goat cheese salad topped with crunchy pine nuts. The place was very busy and enjoys a very good reputation for simple fresh food. Only one regret: I passed on dessert (which nevertheless looked amazing.)!
