After reading the reviews on trip advisor we were very eager to try this restaurant. The setting is wonderful, the service exceptional but the food completely let the whole experience down. In general the presentation was appalling especially since this is not the cheapest of restaurants. The big loser were the tuna tartar which at 17 euro you would expect to be more filled with tuna yet had maybe half a handful! The lasagne, although not really lasagne, was bland and boring. I found that although each dish was served with a salad, the cheese dish did not require one and was rather ordinary. The panna cotta was average at best and the most reasonable red wine (28 euros) was again very average. The only reason this place is getting any stars is because of the wonderful setting and service. I would definitely not return.

We arrived at our hotel .Hotel Roc E Fiori.........for 5 nights and never imagined that there would be such a special restaurant attached to it run by Alain and Jacques. We ate there the first night and the food and service could not be faulted. As a vegetarian trying to have a good meal in France can be a big problem with unimaginative food, but not here ,I could even choose off the menu and every course offered was delicious.My husband (who is not a veggie) agreed that everything he choose was excellent too.You can feel that care and love go into the preparation of all they do. On the second night I had something different, beautifully cooked and prepared. The third night we decided to try somewhere in the town of Porto Vecchio for a change and on reflection I don't know why we did as we both agreed this was the only place to eat,and didn't go anywhere else after that ! So THANKYOU Jacques and Alain for making our stay in Corsica so memorable you food is divine and we hope one day to return.

We went there twice for dinner during a one week holiday. The restaurant has two terrace places, one where they put the larger groups and/or families with children and one very nice open space setting: tables are spaciously set creating an up-market class. The service is extremely professional and very friendly. The ladies definitely deserve a compliment. The food is also great. The foie gras starter melts on you tongue. The crab cannelloni is a special of the house, a great recommendation. Definitely by far the best place we visited during our stay in Corse. Pricing is very reasonable in view of food quality, friendliness of service and overall setting: had between 120 and 130 euro's each time for both of us for 3 course dinner with wine.

As regular travellers we are accustomed to mediocre food in hotel restaurants. This restaurant UI s the exception. The good is as good or better than Michelin starred places we have visited. In particular the bouillabaisse and the Corsican lamb and olives. Excellent crab cannelloni and superb linguini vongole. Staff are courteous and attentive and the terrace beautiful. A great place to enjoy an evening.
