Let's start with the lady of the house: unique, welcoming and a great sense of humor. But the cook also deserves a lot of credit. He serves some variations of local dishes that are to die for. If you like tartiflette, certainly try the Cal'faim.

If your looking for local cuisine or speciality from the region then this place offers classic dishes. Lady/owner is very sweet and speaks good English and very accommodating. Great for family with young kids

Arrived for lunch on Sunday, we were the only ones initially but the outside seating soon filled up. The waitress/owner was very attentive, spoke a little English and explained items we weren't sure of. We decided on the house menu and were treated to a plate of assorted cold meats, a main of local sausage in a sauce/gravy that was lovely, pasta in a cheese sauce and med style veg followed by choice of sweet (Lemon meringue pie, blueberry tart, ice cream or cheese) and coffee to follow. The lemon pie was lovely and the cheese plentiful. Other diners plates looked lovely and good portion sizes and were all being emptied. All in all a pleasant experience with lovely food and not hurried. We would eat there agian and try something else.

Very classic menu and nice friendly service ( in fact I haven't met a cranky person yet in this town )above average prices but well done.
