It will happen some time, you are traveling in the country, somwhere in France, time is way after noon, you are starting to get hungry but there is no restaurant in site, suddenly you see a modest sign on a modest house, you enter, expecting nothing, you are seated and given the incredibly inexpensive menu, you expect even less, you end up having one of the best lunches in your life. It happened to us. Everything we ate was beautifull and exceptionaly good. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is quite exceptional, innovative and sophisticated food at a ridiculously low price. I am no stranger to the area and when in the area eat out frequently. In my opinion there are no restaurants around who can compete either on price or quality. The service might be a tiny bit slow but the staff are pleasant and efficient. The wine is a bit expensive and they would do well to offer a cheaper good house wine but their food is so well priced I understand they need to make profit on something. feel I must point out this establishment is not near Quarre Les Tombes, it is on the main road from Avallon to Lormes. Don't be put off by the unprepossessing exterior, it totally belies the modern clean restaurant within. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely evening meal here. During our recent trip in Brittany/Burgundy we experienced some of the worst service and food we have ever had in visiting France for over 40 years. Not so here where the food was imaginative but homely and the service friendly and helpful. If the marinated sardines are on the menu when you are there you must try them.My only complaint would be the high prices for local wines. Also they could do much to improve the outdoor areas as during the summer my wife and I would always prefer to dine outside.

We had lunch at Le Chastellux and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and presentation of the food. Great value for money and they even baked fresh gluten free bread especially! Lovely environment - highly recommended

Located in the Olympic park, this restaurant does the job for a quick Vietnamese food fix.

J'aime beaucoup la cuisine vietnamienne mais j'ai été déçu par cet endroit, de la mescaline dans les rouleaux de papier de riz et dans ma salade de vermicelles.

J'ai essayé mon premier "pho" de cet endroit._Celui au bœuf_C'était délicieux et une grosse portion__Je l'ai eu à emporter et ils m'ont fourni tout le plastique
