We visited this farm based on a tip from a lady working in a gift shop. They sell wonderful locally made cheese, sausages, eggs, butter, and yogurt. The vendor kindly and patiently let us try a few varieties. We came out with three flavored cheeses--basil, pepper and mustard, and a pesto. We also bought a half kilo of delicious salami. Prices were reasonable and the taste is wonderful. They also have a seating area and sell drinks, beer, coffee, etc. After paying up we wandered around back and said hello to a couple of cows, a donkey and a pony.

On y retournera.

As cheese enthusiasts we followed the sign into a magnificent corner of heaven. An extremely nice couple (and brother who manages the farm) spent a full hour with us explaining the whole process of making cheese. We have visited plenty of farms, but never saw...such a beautiful and well maintained place. Everything is designed into one purpose: Making the farm products more natural and healthy. The cows are treated like they are of the royal family, and so are the pigs. The family maintains a beautiful “museum” with old dairy making equipment don’t miss this attraction. My theory that it takes nice people to make excellent cheese ha gained another proof point.
