The mas is located in the surroundings of the charming village of Saint Cannat. It works as a 3 star hotel and restaurant. We did not visit the hotel. The mas is made of several buildings of the typical local type, pleasant and very well integrated in the surrounding forest of Saint Cannat. The location uphill offers a very pleasant view on a valley were horses can be observed. As a result, the place enjoys a little wind at night, very convenient during sometimes quite hot summer nights. The restaurant offers a nice terrace, nicely covered with elegant tents. Tables are pleasantly dressed. Service is attentive and helpful. The menu offers a limited choice of starters, main dishes and desserts. Dressing of plates is nice but the contents of the latter giveselatively poor value for money, except the chateaubriand (invoiced at 70€ for two). If the meat is excellent, the sauces coming with it do not add whatever. Being 6 around the table, we could test a significant portion of dishes offered on the menu. Conclusion was unanimous across the board: correct but not worth the money. As a typical example, the aubergine millefeuille proposed as a starter: three slices of roasted aubergine, a tomatoe roasted at low temperature and a bit of aubergine tapenade was far from 22€ worth. A positive point though is a limited but interesting list of wines proposed at reasonable prices. As a conclusion, the mas was not a bad moment but whether prices should be reviewed downwards or the level of the cuisine improved quite a bit.
