The restaurant is not Michelin star, but it is good home-cooking. At short notice, the chef was able to arrange a delicious vegetarian spread for us. Ratatouille, seasoned potatoes, pasta, mushroom risotto and some delicious dessert. Not to mention delicious wine. Recommend this place a country experience, away from the city. The tables are surrounded by woods and overlook the family's stud farm in the distance. The views are beautiful and so is the setting.

We had an outstanding lunch today. They pride themselves on local (Provençal) dishes and ingredients. We chose the menu marché which was excellent. Each dish was prepared to perfection. The service was attentive and at exactly the right pace. We chose to sit outside on their terrace which was perfect for a warm Spring day. The prices were reasonable especially given the quality. Well worth a visit!

The mas is located in the surroundings of the charming village of Saint Cannat. It works as a 3 star hotel and restaurant. We did not visit the hotel. The mas is made of several buildings of the typical local type, pleasant and very well integrated in the surrounding forest of Saint Cannat. The location uphill offers a very pleasant view on a valley were horses can be observed. As a result, the place enjoys a little wind at night, very convenient during sometimes quite hot summer nights. The restaurant offers a nice terrace, nicely covered with elegant tents. Tables are pleasantly dressed. Service is attentive and helpful. The menu offers a limited choice of starters, main dishes and desserts. Dressing of plates is nice but the contents of the latter giveselatively poor value for money, except the chateaubriand (invoiced at 70€ for two). If the meat is excellent, the sauces coming with it do not add whatever. Being 6 around the table, we could test a significant portion of dishes offered on the menu. Conclusion was unanimous across the board: correct but not worth the money. As a typical example, the aubergine millefeuille proposed as a starter: three slices of roasted aubergine, a tomatoe roasted at low temperature and a bit of aubergine tapenade was far from 22€ worth. A positive point though is a limited but interesting list of wines proposed at reasonable prices. As a conclusion, the mas was not a bad moment but whether prices should be reviewed downwards or the level of the cuisine improved quite a bit.

One summer night we've been lost driving on small roads from Marseille. Going around the village, we've asked a man if something open and he'd recommend us Mas de Fauchon. When we arrived, late, tired and a little bit wet on motorcycles, a very nice young girl welcomed us, we left all gears in a small room and enter the restaurant. Even though it was very late, they served us complete dinner without any problems. The food was excellent, the wine list is impressive and if you are not a connoisseur, don't waste your time, ask for a recommendation. You can choose between 3 courses menu or a la carte (this option is pricey)

On our way from Aix en Provence to Avignon we stopped at lunch time in small village Saint Cannat and followed up to 2 km signs of Mas de Fauchon. Excellent surprise. An authentic old Mas, cosy, with open view surrounding. Thanks to great weither, we stayed on terrasse. The menu of thz day proposed as starter, nem de homard avec sauce mangue, followed by main course Rable de Lapin truffe de tapenade , one glass of rose de provence. As dessert, we got a baba au rhume dans une nage d'ananas lychees. All menu was " ouaou!" . No any comment, professional and very polite team. We really appreciate this typical south of France cuisine at affordable and reasonable price. To stop their absolutely.

As hotel guests, we decided to try their restaurant which ended up being a very nice surprise. There are 3 menus and we opted for the most elaborate one (L'Ensolleillé). The food was very well prepared, tasty and fresh, including Asparagus starter, local fish Carpaccio, veal steak and desert.
