Lovely feel to the place with a nice vibe, very pleasant and helpful staff, and a great outdoor setting (so long as it's sunny!)And a nice change to see a vegi place amidst the multitudes of goose torture outlets!But, the food just wasn't that great. The vegi hot dogs were nice but puny, drowned in unwelcome beetroot, and came with nothing on the side despite a 6 euro + price. Avocado sandwich similarly very basic and lacking flair or sides. Still citron lemonade pleasant, but no proper coffee for some odd reason or other.Probably gets away with standards a non vegi place wouldn't because everybody is nice - both customers and owners - and the emporer's clothes syndrome is unspoken. Still, if you want a vegi option, this is definitely the place to go!
If you plan to visit the picturesque Saint-Leon, then definitely stop by Sabine and James' SmooVie-foody wonderland! You feel like a part of a family having lunch, or dinner in the lovely garden under the fig tree! I loved the classics of the place - the amazing veggie burger and irresistible falafel wrap and carrot-walnut muffins. The desserts are especially to die for, as every day there are new options to choose from - I admit, I was licking my plate at the end! Never expected vegan food to taste so amazing!!!
The entire village is so beautiful that it seems to have come from a dream. This is especially true when you go to Smoovie Grignotheque. The food is always fresh and delicious with lots of variety. If you are not vegan/vegetarian and you have doubts, you can let your mind be at ease. The food is so well prepared and filled with many different flavors that you won't be able to resist coming back for more. The garden to the side is also very pretty with a giant fig tree in the center. This place stands out from the local cuisine and you feel a vibe of having been invited into someone's home. It is the perfect place to go on a hot summer day and have a smoothie in the garden.
