This was the second time I eat there. i always get the biggest menu and let the chef pick the meal. You cannot go wrong with any dish. Great dining room.

This is probably the best French restaurant we have ever had the fortune to visit. The choice of menus made it difficult to decide what on earth to eat! Chef Olivier Valade does a superb job of not only cooking the dishes but also of presenting them. Additionally the service was first class. We can only recommend it if you are ever near Cancale.

We had two really amazing meals at this restaurant (we were also staying at the hotel). One was a 4 course taster menu (+ plenty of amuse bouche) and the other was a 7 course menu. Both were truly exquisite. The food was delicious and extremely well presented. We live in central London, and this was as good as we could get at home. We were also very pleased to have an opportunity to speak to the chef (Olivier Valade) at the end of the meal - using the Maitre d' as a translator! In comparison to London prices, this was reasonable. However, it might feel expensive to others. I would not recommend the wine pairing, which did not feel like good value for money. Overall, a great experience - twice.

Myself and Dawn had two evening meals here the first night was of the menu and the second night a theme night!the first night was Fabulous a good selection I had the lobster which was lobster cooked and prepared I don't know how many different ways but it all seamed so light! I think Dawn had a duck dish that was also Fab.the second night was a Caviar theme night where everything had some Caviar even the desert, now dawn does not like caviar so the sort out different dishes for her without any fuss, but I must say the caviar the put in the desert was something else Dawn tried it and liked it! it was lemon in flavour! if you get the opportunity to try this place just do it! one down side is they do not do meals in the evening on Sunday and Monday!

Dined there after reading good reviews, unfortunately our experience wasn't so. The overall experience was average, let down by poor service and long delays between delivery of courses.I'll start with the bad - Had an 830 reservation, took two attempts at a drinks order and over a 30min wait before we finally got our drinks. Food order was not taken until a good 45 minutes after seating, first course of fancy cheese and crackers on a spoon arrived after over hour and 15min into our initial seating and the delays between courses continued. Don't get me wrong I am all for slow dining, but this was disappointingly slow and not something I expect from Michelin dining. Finally to top it off, head waiter needs to take a course in customer relations, he was in fine form in delivering a stunning performance of living up to past reputations of arrogance. The good - food was to standard, but somehow lacked the wow factor. I had the lobster course and other had degustation mix. I expected more from this establishment, unfortunately I left feeling rather short changed on many fronts.

We have dined here many times and our last visit didn't disappoint, as usual. The service is very attentive without being over the top, the restaurant itself is beautiful and refined, yet you feel at home and able to relax and enjoy your meal. The food quality is superb and magnificently presented. Within a short drive of Saint Malo, I highly recommend a visit if staying in the area.

Dined here the first night of our stay at the hotel. The service is exemplary and the food is delicious. We had the 45 euro menu which was 3 courses with good choice throughout the menu. There are more expensive options and an a la carte menu. If you like seafood and lobster in particular, this is the place for you.

The restaurant is refined without being stuffy, the food is just superb for an evening meal. The choice is pretty wide. try the sole in a Japanese lemon butter....delicious. The Grand Marnier Souffle cannot be beaten and yes the coffee choice is great!
