A nice little bistro in a very quite little village. We stayed here for a short cycling holiday and only ate here once (and came once for drinks) but if we had been in the area longer, we would have been back more times. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is lovely. I had a really, really good burger cooked to perfection with melted local cheese. The table next to us had grilled prawns and they looked amazing. Nice terrace to sit in the cool and while away a couple of hours. Open 7pm to 9pm. Recommended.

Bit late posting this.We went here on spec as the place had been closed for a good few months, we were not disappointed, it has an excellent wine list the food was very good and excellent value for money. It is a very well run family establishment with a relaxing atmosphere, as we only stay about 5 minutes away it could become a regular haunt when we have visitors! Highly recommended if you are staying locally or just passing by!

They re-opened in March 2016 with new owners. Friendly athmosphere and good food! Easy parking in the small village. Even our dog was allowed.

à la recherche d'une maison en Provence nous a été recommandé le vassol par notre agent immobilier qui habite dans le village. nous nous sommes assis sur la terrasse ensoleillée pour notre première visite et avons dégusté un délicieux bloc déjeuner à trois plats sous le soleil provençal. Nous sommes revenus six ou sept fois et, selon le temps, nous nous sommes détendus dans l'une des deux chambres confortables. chaque visite était exceptionnelle, la nourriture, le vin et le service sont le premier prix. faites-le avec des voyages raisonnables avec un personnel amical et accueillant et c'est un must absolu à visiter quand ils sont à l'opposé.

a friend who lives in the village usually travels to meet us for lunch because there has been no restaurant here for a few years, and that was just a basic bar. after the reviews I tried to try the new le vassol. The...interior is tasteful and there is an open fire for the colder months. outside there is a beautiful small courtyard with a simple fountain and the walls are suspended with plants. the shading is supplied by sunshades and there were some gaps in which the sun immersed. the midday menu does not offer choice and the alternatives were also restricted. we would recommend the fixed menu. today's offer was an appetizer of humbly with chorizo and salat, roasted pork with an orzo risotto (nicely seasoned and much lighter than rice) dressed with a mix of sweet and tiramisu. everything was freshly cooked and delicious. the service was efficient and welcoming. we recommend it and would return anytime.
