This is a great no frills, good value small restaurant, serving great food. The menu de jour is great value, as is the a la carte menu. It is always full of locals - large tables of workers congregate mid-week. We can recommend the eggs murette (poached in red wine) and the salmon in basil cream sauce. We have visited a number of times and never been disappointed.

The pizza here is spectacular. I also enjoy their kir. We ate here as a family and the staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The kids menu options include a choice of pizza or spaghetti bolognese. Both my kids absolutely loved both options. The ice cream dessert was well appreciated also. I strongly recommend this restaurant for families, couples, and anyone interested in a delicious meal!

Poor choice given the available resources. Sat us on the sidewalk under a condom machine that was attached to the wall. None of the local dishes available but it took the waitress 10 minutes to figure that out. She got the orders wrong. Noisy location unless you are into watching farm equipment and constant road traffic.

In the small Burgundy village of Semur-En-Auxois, this is a friendly, well-run, moderately priced restaurant in the center of town. The owner is a lovely lady who speaks English well, and probably several other languages. It offers typical Burgundian fare such as oefs maurette, steak tatare, escargots and beef burgundy. They also have pizza, I guess for people who are French cuisine challenged.

Just had lunch here, but it was very good. Lots of locals, we were the only tourist in the restaurant. The food was good and the service was very nice,

We ate here on just one night. We found the food pretty good, particularly the oeufs en meurette. The portions were good but some courses were not as hot as they should have been (admittedly, not an infrequent complaint of ours when eating out in England!).The service was quck but the staff could have been more friendly.

We decided to pizzas and rocked up to Le Sagittaire during a very busy night. The owner was so lovely and sat us down to wait. We didn't wail long. She also opened a bottle of wine for us.

Bored witless with a slab of meat & french fries that is served all over France we tried the pizza pasta option. Pizza OK but the pasta was inedible (it went back & was taken off the bill). Service charming, new owner speaks good English; go for the French option at this one - Italy's a no go area!
