Restaurant L'Espace Porto Pollo Réserver une table

L'escale plays some of the best music (roots and blues among the selection) we have heard in Porto Pollo. We had a mozzarella salad and a pizza and enjoyed the beach view. Friendly informal place.

We have been coming to Porto Pollo for many years and without a doubt in my view this place serves the the best food in the village. If you are after great local cuisine this is the place to go. If you after pretentious 5 star dinning it is probably not for you. But then if that is what you are after Corsica is not the place to go. The service can a be a little slow but who cares with such wonderful views from the terrace.

Went to Espace on bank holiday Monday, as other nearby restaurants were fully booked. Nice location with a sea view and we were informed that only a set menu was available. After 20 minutes the waiter arrived. No drinks menu available so we told him what we wanted. 30 minutes later three of the five drinks arrived. After a further five minutes an enquiry about the missing two drinks was met with a rude dismissal and the missing drinks arrived minutes later. 90 minutes after being seated the starter turned up. A few minutes later the waiter walked past the table and dropped a baguette on the table. For our bread! He quickly grabbed it back and delivered to another table. A basket of cut up bread arrived a few minutes later. Main course was beef and dried up potatoes. After arriving at our table the waiter lit a cigarette while chatting to the next table. Order for red wine and a coca cola was ignored and after desert we asked for the bill from three different waiters before the final one directed us to the till. Unsurprisingly the missing red wine and coke were on the bill. Food was passable but the service was beyond terrible, worst all five of us have ever had. Avoid at all costs

Good pizza's and menu for the kids. Despite the long waiting and mistakes ( our french is limited) we had a great evening. The view on the harbor and beach is really great.

Beautiful setting overlooking bay . Probably chose wrongly as had pizzas which had very little topping. All in all nothing to write home about . Service mediocre. Ward lincoln

This was seriously understaffed and not very efficient. It took half an hour from ordering to be told that the starter I wanted was no longer available. The food was all right but not exceptional though we didn't have any deserts as we were exhausted from waiting ages for the two previous courses.

We went over for a family dinner- lovely scene, ok food, service not so attentive and quite disoriented Next nights seemed busy and we decided not to return

Visited this restaurant for dinner as it is walking distance from the hotel (Casa Murina) I'm staying in. It offers nice view of the beach and sea with mountains in the background. Food is reasonably priced and taste average at best. Having read good reviews on its service. I was disappointed with what I've received. Service was slow and definitely inattentive. It just seems like they don't want to entertain us. This is my first and last visit to this restaurant
