Pizza evening for our part, possibility to eat on site, homemade pizza, and very good. a very friendly setting as seen on the port. as well as a very important point for us: the kindness, friendliness, and the patience of the staff of this bakery/pizzeria. service also very fast.
This is the closest boulangerie to the apartment where my husband and I stayed for a week in August. Every morning, my husband ventured down to the boulangerie and joined the queue which was often out the door. On every occasion, he was treated very politely and served with a smile even though his French is very limited. The quality of the baguettes and croissants is excellent. We also bought a pizza from here one evening. The toppings were generous and delicious but the base was a bit too doughy for my liking; I prefer thin and crispy.
I don't understand how we can say it's good, hearty, and friendly in other comments. It's the whole other way. Out of the summer season, it might be better. We can also understand that it is the rush in the summer and the bakery level. Diformed rods that don't stand, no cracker and become rubber fast enough. really, the face of the french wand for the miliers of foreign visitors...The only positive point is the geographical, unhappy situation, they know and abuse it.
