This bar / restaurant was taken over 2 years ago by a lovely couple Corinne and Xavier.Corinne runs the bar and restaurant whilst Xavier runs the kitchen.They both have a lot of experience in the industry which means that they provide a wonderful service and very tasty dishes.Xavier is very skilful and you can feel his passion for cooking as much in his simple set menu as you do in his more sophisticated a la carte menu.Corinne is very friendly whilst ensuring to remain professional and provide the best service whether you ordered a glass of wine or a full 3 course menu.The restaurant has been designed in a simplistic yet, modern way to make you feel comfortable.There is also a great "games room" (with "palets / "flechettes", "babyfoot" which can be hired for private use and a fantastic garden by the river.There is also ample parking in front of the restaurant or the parking across the road.We went to Le Relais de Somloire on a few occasions and each time were treated like kings and enjoyed the food very much.We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this lovely place to all.
