This is turning into my favorite restaurant in Strasbourg! My italian friends here in town introduced me to it and every time I i enjoy the experience- and its really the only italian restaurant in town they will visit. Located on a cobblestone street across from one of the restored churches, this small quaint little restaurant is warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Tables are candle lit and the staff is very welcoming. Last night i ate the linquine with shrimp special and it was amazing. And don't forget the carpaccio, or the melanzane, or the italian wines, or the grappa, or the limoncello... The owner came to the table and helped serve as well. All in all a great experience.
This was truly a find. Authentic Italian food with a very friendly host and server. Food was great, service was fine and cost was fair. We ate outside the first night and had to sit inside the second evening as it was raining quite hard. Reservations suggested for weekends.
This is where you go when you need a change from the alsation cuisine. Fairly honest family Italian food, served well and packed with flavor. Hosts make it an enjoyable evening. We had veal and it was just right. Not a world changing experience yet relaxed,satisfying and worth every penny. I've eaten Italian food around the world and this was very nice.
We wanted something different on our last night in Strasbourg, and sought out this tiny restaurant near l'Eglise Saint Thomas based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. My sister had Lasagne and I had Spaghetti Bolognese - both were delicious. The waiter was charming, as was the atmosphere - view of Saint Thomas and the carousel outside the window. After being used to choosing among Alsatian wines, I was just a little taken aback by having to pick an Italian wine to accompany our meal. Overall, a very good meal. We'll be back.
Had lunch outdoors at this tiny restaurant facing Saint Thomas cathedral. Shared an antipasto – not much variety and a little skimpy but good. My main was a well-prepared and tasty penne bolognaise and my partner ordered the garlic shrimp which was accompanied by a tomato/mushroom/lardon salad. Fish a little overcooked. Excellent tiramisu which we shared. Portions were adequate or better and the service very friendly. Nice cosy vibe.
