We arrived late in Toulon and we didn't have time to search for places to eat so we ended up in La Cascade. The place is not fancy at all, a regular brasserie with average service and good wi-fi:-) I've tried the pasta Provencale, which was the worst pasta of my life. I'm a pasta fan, I know how it should taste and look, but these spaghetti were so sticky, so soft and the sauce definitely came from a can (tin), no way that was a home cooked sauce. My boyfriend tried the pork steak, which was ok, maybe a bit too raw for my taste, but he liked it.

Stopped here for lunch. Very busy. Food and service was good. Ordered sardines as a starter. But did not enjoy it. They changed it a salmon dish. And did not charge for the sardines. Prices are reasonable.

Great find especially after being turned away from other restaurants that were closing. Lots of choices seafood and pizza. Pleasant atmosphere!

If you want to eat between lunch and dinner hours, this place is a good choice: its kitchen is open all day!The young waiter was very friendly and caring. We just had pizzas, which were nothing special, but quite ok. Home made deserts were very good, so finally we were satisfied. With local rosé wine and coffee we paid less than 50 euros for two. Very reasonable. They offer also mussels, fish...The location in the pleasure boat harbour is very good - a place in the sun whole afternoon.

The restaurant is in the port of Toulon with a nice view to the harbour and it's also used by locals. I have been here several times for lunch and dinner and i was always pleased by the food and wine. You might find the service slow, but this is a cultural thing....they don't have other speed :)

This restaurant is right on the seafront, so I tried a local fish dish (Bream). The cost and quality of the food and wine were reasonable. The restaurant is used by locals as well as visitors, which is a good sign. However, the service was slow and some of our group were getting a little impatient at one stage.

Absolutely shocking service!!! The staff is incompetent and so is the boss that simply looked how his employees arguing with clients that got the spoilt salad. We asked the salad to be specifically prepared and instead got the plate full of chopped vegetables that must have been out on the 30 plus degrees heat. Furthermore, the boss said this has nothing to do with me and did not want to intervene to mitigate the situation and did not offer anything in return. Not even an apology!
