We visited here for lunch after taking the cable car trip up Mont Faron. It is also possible to drive. We had a fabulous experience. The views are wonderful and we asked for a table on the outside terrace to enjoy them. It was very hot and sunny and we were offered sunhats as the umbrellas did not fully cover all the tables. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I must give a special mention for Tiffany who was an absolute delight. The menu was in French and the staff spoke mostly French- as expected as we were in France! We were fine and I am sure Google Translate would help if necessary! Not a huge choice but enough variety for everyone to find something. Husband had a burger and chips for 21 Euros. I had goat's cheese salad for 17 Euros. Both were excellent. Desserts were generous. We felt that drinks were expensive with a pint of beer being 9 Euros and a glass of rose 7 Euros. Despite this we would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It was a super experience. We sat for 20 minutes, without so much as a bonjour or a menu being passed our way. There were 4 other tables apart from ours and when we went to ask for a menu I was told to wait as he was busy serving someone else. Looked at the menu, we were told the beef was off and what was left was a pretty standard list of sandwiches and crepes. The waiter then disappeared so we went to the counter to order. I stood there for 10 minutes before the woman who was cooking noticed me and asked what I wanted. So I asked to order 3 sandwiches, all on the menu. She then seemed to explode in a tirade, explaining that if we wanted sandwiches, we would have to go to the other place, waving out the window, as she was only making crepes. Her tone of voice suggested she was angry with us for having the temerity to want to be served food in her restaurant... Readers, we ate elsewhere.
