The Pizzeria Grill Capri was a life saver for us as we passed through Vannes after a long drive from Noirmoutier with still over an hour to our final destination in Quimper. It was late (nearly 10 pm!) and there was no parking anywhere due to a massive music festival. We had to pass on many bistros for that reason until suddenly this cute restaurant appeared and a free parking place was spotted in walking distance. Despite the late hour we were greeted like family members by the lovely, classy owner and a very sweet, young waitress. The tables were beautifully set. We were starving and ordered four plate-sized pizzas with various toppings. My father asked if he could have his combination of ingredients without the ham and was immediately offered another topping of his choice. The pizzas were wonderful, thin, crispy crusts and fresh, flavorful ingredients. When we were leaving, the owner walked us all the way out, charmingly thanking us and wishing us a safe trip. We loved this place!
The restaurant is ideally situated for those who are staying at the top of Vannes i.e. just across the car park from the Best Western Central and Kyriad.There is a good range of food at very reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and efficient.We visited on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was well frequented, many of the diners seemed to be regulars which is always a good recommendation.

La Pizzeria Grill Capri a été notre sauveteur lorsque, après un long trajet depuis Noirmoutier, nous avons roulé jusqu'à notre destination à Quimper en passant par Vannes pendant plus d'une heure. Il était tard (près de 10 heures !) et il n'y avait pas de parking quelque part à cause d'un énorme festival de musique. Pour cette raison, nous avons dû laisser de côté de nombreux bistros jusqu'à ce que soudain ce joli restaurant apparaisse et qu'un parking gratuit soit découvert à pied. Malgré À l'heure tardive, nous avons été accueillis comme des membres de la famille par la belle et élégante propriétaire et par une jeune serveuse très gentille. Les tables étaient joliment placées. Nous sommes morts de faim et avons commandé quatre pizzas de la taille d'une assiette avec des garnitures différentes. Mon père a demandé s'il pouvait avoir sa combinaison " d'ingrédients sans le jambon et on lui a immédiatement proposé une autre garniture de son choix. Les pizzas étaient merveilleuses, avec des croûtes fines et croustillantes et des ingrédients frais et de bon goût. Quand nous sommes partis, le propriétaire est sorti jusqu'au bout, nous a remercié avec charme et nous a souhaité un bon séjour. voyage. Nous avons adoré cet endroit!
