Visited this restaurant with our relatives who now live in France. It is run by English people and the food and service is excellent. A fixed price menu is available and we enjoyed a starter, main course and a sweet for around 25 euros. I had smoked duck for starters followed by sirloin steak and then the chocolate ganache. I would highly recommend a visit or two!
As we were too late booking diner (full) we reserved for lunch. Well I know now why it was fully booked for the week. Absolutely amazing food en atmosphere. Simply superb. From start to finish and well priced €15 for 3 course lunch. Little gem with good mixture of tourists and locals well enough said.
I am writing this review following our second visit to this charming and hospitable restaurant. La Petite Noisette is located in a gorgeous and accessible village with ample parking within a very short distance. It is tastefully decorated to a high standard. Staff are welcoming and appropriately friendly. The food is superb and creatively presented. The wine list is good with some excellent choices to be had. The bar holds a selection of beers including draught Guinness! Best of all, everything is fairly priced. The acid test is that on both evenings we saw as many of the French eating there as English ex-pats!
