If you happen in the country you can not go to dinner from the mekong. small but very characteristic place features a stage with outdoor tables. the owner is always very kind and impeccable in his look. the quality of food is very high and the costs are very low. It is really worth stopping to taste this kind of Vietnamese cuisine. I recommend it very much
on holiday in villasfranche we decide to go to dinner in this place. We had some doubts about the welcome we would have reserved, after reading some reviews. in fact they were very kind and the food great! super ravioli and really abundant portions. special beer available.
As Southern California native, who has many great Asian food options at home, I was not expecting to find such a wonderful Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant in the the small town of Villefranche. In fact, it was a nice change of pace in an area that is heavy dominated by Italian food. Everything we had was delicious (chicken yellow curry, beef with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, noodles). We spied traditional Vietnamese egg rolls with greens on the the table next to us that I wish we had ordered. I would definitely recommend this reasonably priced restaurant. CASH ONLY
We were told about this restaurant by a couple from Cork we met in a bar in Villefranche one night.. we gave it a go and boy were we surprised..Great food, very reasonable for Villefrnache..100 Euros inc tip for us for food and drinks which is a bargain in the village.Was so good we went back the following night.. the dumplings are to die for as are any of the curry dishes. Seafood is great.
Cute quaint location, friendly service and yummy food what more could you ask for, and all at a more than reasonable price. We had 2 x starters, 2 x mains, 1 x desert and 2 x drinks (1 was 1/2 bottle house wine) for €51. Thoroughly lovely night out, would recommend ... only thing to be careful of is that they don't accept credit card.
